Two of the immediate, high-dollar costs for insurers are emergency room visits and hospitalizations, whether for medical or psychiatric reasons. The Results Tracking System (RTS) system can track these two measures. As our data collection grows, we will have real usage numbers. Agencies may already have data on their clients' ER and hospitalization rates. With these two sets of figures, one can calculate the cost savings of including neurofeedback in a client's treatment.
